Bianco P.A. is pleased to announce the successful passage of House Bill 292, relative to registration fees for commercial, private, and pleasure vessels. This law will help keep NH lakes clean and recognizes the importance of our state’s natural resources in areas such as tourism. Signed into law on July 22, 2014, the legislation is the result of the combined efforts of our firm’s work with our clients, Fair Funding for Invasives Control and the NH Marine Trades Association, among several other organizations that supported its passage.
Beginning in 2015, the new law will increase the available funding for milfoil control activities to help keep our water bodies clean for generations to come. In a year when very few funding bills passed the New Hampshire Legislature, the legislation is a testament to the successful collaboration of all involved and the recognition of the importance of clean lakes to the New Hampshire economy.
