Members of our firm joined nearly 1,000 volunteers and 900 athletes, as well as their families, friends, and other spectators — all of whom braved the season’s first heat wave — to contribute to the Summer Games. Volunteers were busy checking-in registered athletes, assisting athletes to and from competition areas, keeping official time and measurements during events, and much more. The athletes spent the two-day competition participating in event categories such as athletics, equestrian, and aquatics, and athletes who were lucky enough to take home a gold medal are eligible to be selected for the 2014 USA Summer Games taking place in New Jersey next June.
